These Terms govern your use of Otlo as an individual User and across Communities, Events, and Brand (business) pages. By creating an account or using Otlo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Otlo is a community management and member engagement platform for individual Users who discover people, join and operate Communities, host and attend Events, and represent Brands through business pages.
Otlo is designed and operated to comply with applicable platform, consumer, and data-protection rules of competent legal bodies in the jurisdictions where Otlo offers the service, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection framework and related information-technology obligations that protect Users as well as Organisations.
A User is any natural person who registers for, signs into, or otherwise uses Otlo with a personal account. User accounts are personal: you may not share login sessions or misrepresent your identity.
You must be legally able to form a binding contract to use Otlo. Where age-restricted features apply, Otlo may require date-of-birth confirmation and may limit access for underage Users in line with applicable law.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information, for securing your device and session, and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree that Otlo may process your User data as described in the Privacy Policy to provide account, profile, network, notification, and discovery features.
Otlo’s compliance posture for Users includes lawful authentication, recorded platform legal acceptance, consent records for optional permissions (such as location or notifications), and account controls to disable or delete your User account subject to legal retention needs.
Communities on Otlo are member spaces created and administered by Users (owners, admins, and other granted roles). Community operators may set joining criteria, invite policies, membership rules, forms, announcements, and role permissions within Otlo’s product controls.
If you create or manage a Community, you are responsible for lawful operation of that Community, including how you collect join-application answers, how you moderate members, and how you publish community-specific policies that members must accept.
Members must respect Community rules that are disclosed at join time. Otlo may remove or restrict Communities that violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
Events may be hosted by Communities, Brands, or authorised organisers. Hosts control event details, guest lists, RSVP settings, registration forms, team roles, and post-event feedback where enabled.
Attending Users agree that RSVP, registration answers, chat access (where granted), and attendance-related records may be visible to hosts and authorised event team members as needed to run the Event.
Hosts must provide accurate event information, honour capacity and access rules they configure, and avoid deceptive, unsafe, or unlawful gatherings promoted through Otlo.
Brand pages (business entities on Otlo) let organisations present a public presence, follow relationships, and operate related Communities or Events where permitted.
If you create or administer a Brand page, you represent that you are authorised to act for that organisation, that submitted legal-structure and identity details are truthful, and that your page does not impersonate another brand.
Brand operators must not misuse Otlo for spam, misleading advertising, or unlawful commercial practices. Following Users and visitors may see public Brand profile information you choose to publish.
Every User agrees not to misuse Otlo. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, hate or violent content, illegal activity, IP infringement, scraping without authorisation, circumventing access controls, or uploading malware.
Otlo may suspend User accounts, remove content, or limit features to protect Users, Communities, Events, Brands, and platform integrity.
You retain rights in content you submit as a User. You grant Otlo a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service you requested (for example, showing your profile photo, an event cover, or a community logo).
Otlo’s name, logos, product design, and software remain Otlo’s property. You may not copy or reverse engineer Otlo except as allowed by law.
Otlo is operated to remain fully compliant with the rules and compliance expectations of applicable legal bodies governing digital platforms, personal data, consumer protection, and online intermediaries in Otlo’s markets—covering individual Users as well as Communities, Events, and Brands.
Where product features collect consent (platform legal acceptance, join consent, form consent, location, or notifications), Otlo records those choices to support accountability and User rights under applicable law.
These Terms do not replace advice from your own counsel. Users who also operate Communities, Events, or Brands remain responsible for their local legal duties when collecting other people’s data or running activities.
Otlo is provided on an “as available” basis. Interactions between Users, Communities, Events, and Brands are primarily between those parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Otlo is not liable for disputes arising solely from user-to-user conduct.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer or data-protection law protecting Users.
Otlo may update these Terms. Material updates will be reflected by a new policy version and, where required, renewed acceptance by Users.
Questions about these Terms may be raised through in-app Settings or Otlo support channels published on the platform.
